We had a nice Easter weekend, enjoying two free tickets for an onsen and admiring the lovely view of the lake from the balcony. The room was clean and spacious, and we appreciated the English-speaking staff. The hotel is conveniently situated close to the Shinjiko Onsen station, making it easy to explore the surrounding area.
The breakfast was quite expensive and not so varied, and the absence of transportation options in the area was a major inconvenience. We had to walk quite a distance to find a place to eat, which was not ideal when it rained.

This hotel's location provides a spectacular view of a lake and is conveniently located near a tourist bus stop. Guests can enjoy a traditional Japanese room, complete with tatami mats and futons, alongside a private balcony with onsen bath. the staff is attentive and goes above and beyond to make guests feel pampered. Guests can indulge in a fantastic Japanese breakfast every morning.
The hotel may be a bit distant from the city center, so guests may need to use alternate transportation methods.

Friendly service and stunning views. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, even if there was a bit of a language barrier. The location was perfect, within walking distance to restaurants and local attractions. The private balcony with a hot bath was the ultimate relaxation.
A bit pricey and not much around the hotel. The cost of the hotel was a bit high for what it was. Additionally, there wasn't much to do in the immediate area, so we had to venture out to find things to do.

The hotel's location in front of the lake was absolutely breathtaking, and I enjoyed waking up to gorgeous views every morning. The staff were extremely welcoming and provided rapid and effective service throughout my stay. Additionally, the hotel had excellent amenities including a spa & wellness center, hot spring bath, and a beautiful garden area. The room itself was spacious and well-appointed, with all the necessary amenities such as heating, air conditioning, and a mini-bar.
